Closure of HUB-ICS

With the grand opening of Hisao & Hiroko Taki Plaza in February, the HUB-International Communications Space (HUB-ICS) is scheduled to be closed at the end of January 2021.

HUB-ICS was launched in 2004 with the mission to promote international communications and mutual understanding. We would like to thank you for your longtime support and involvement in HUB-ICS's activities since then, as well as for your active participation in using the facilities and attending various events in the space.

The roles and functions of HUB-ICS in supporting Tokyo Tech's internationalization from the bottom-up approach will be succeeded by Hisao & Hiroko Taki Plaza on a larger scale. The International Student Support desk on the first basement floor will provide advice regarding various aspects of everyday life to international students and help promote international exchange events from February 2021.

ハブ―インターナショナル・コミュニケーションズ・スペース（HUB-ICS）の閉鎖について

　この度、ハブ―インターナショナル・コミュニケーションズ・スペース（HUB-ICS）は、2021年2月に学生向け国際交流施設「Hisao & Hiroko Taki Plaza」に機能が移管することに伴い、1月末をもって閉鎖することとなりましたので、お知らせいたします。

　本学の国際交流及び国際理解の推進を目的として、2004年に開設されて以降、HUB-ICSの活動にご理解・ご協力いただくとともに、様々なイベントへの参加及び施設の利用をいただきましたことに心より感謝申し上げます。

　これまで、本学の国際化をボトムアップで支えてきたHUB-ICSの役割や機能は、拡張するかたちでHisao & Hiroko Taki Plaza へと受け継がれ、地下1階の留学生相談窓口では、留学生を対象とした生活相談や国際交流イベント支援がなされることになりますので、今後ともどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。
