It is never too early to start gathering general information in your search for an apartment. You need to make decisions on many things such as the area in which you want to live, the distance from the nearest station, and the type, size, and location that you can afford, among other things.

To find a place that best suits you, you need to do research on different neighborhoods and go to real estate agencies to see what is available within your budget. It would also be a good idea to make a visit to the area(s) to get a feel for the environment and your potential commute to campus. Therefore, the more time you put into researching and finding your ideal apartment and its locality, the better off you will likely be.

However, when contemplating specific apartments, it would be best to come to a decision one to one and a half months prior to your desired move in date as tenants usually give notice at least 30 days before moving out.

Remember that timing is everything!

Since the due date of the first payment of rent varies with each property, please be sure to check with the real estate agent before you sign a contract.

We hope you will be able to find the right one!
