[Important] Revision of Fees
Facility charges and other fees are scheduled to be revised on August 1, 2023.
Major changes:
１．Revision of facility charges, etc. for short-term residents (less than one month)
Both facility charges and move-in/out fees will be taxed at 10%.
＜Before revision＞
Facility charges are calculated using the formula indicated below:
Multiplying “Daily Rent” by the length of the stay (days) plus “Move-in/out Fee.”
Note: The days on which one moves in and out are included in the length of stay.

Facility charges are calculated using the formula indicated below:
Multiplying “Daily Rent” (excluding consumption tax) by the length of the stay
plus “Move-in/out Fee” (excluding consumption tax)
plus the consumption tax rate applied to the total.
Note: The days on which one moves in and out are included in the length of stay.

２．Revision of cancellation fees
The method of collecting the cancellation fee will change
depending on the timing of the cancellation request from the host researcher.
The revised rules will apply to cancellations made on or after August 1, 2023.
＜Before revision＞
- If the host researcher sends a notification of cancellation during the period
between ten business days prior to the scheduled move-in date (at 17:00 on the day)
and the planned move-in date (at 17:00. If the scheduled move-in date is on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, 17:00 on the next business day):- Applicants should pay the cancellation fees below:
Single: 28,700 yen, Couple: 50,100 yen, Family: 66,000 yen
- Applicants should pay the cancellation fees below:
- If the host researcher sends a notification of cancellation after 17:00 on the scheduled move-in date
(if the scheduled move-in date is on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, after 17:00 on the next business day):- Payment for the first bill (facility charges) is charged
＜After revision＞
If the host researcher sends a notification of cancellation ten business days prior to the scheduled move-in date after 17:00 on the day:
- Applicants should pay the cancellation fees (untaxable) below:
- Single: 28,700 yen, Couple: 50,100 yen, Family 66,000 yen
