Important: Suspension of Short-Term Rental of Single Rooms and Revision of Cancellation Fee Rules

From August 1, 2023, short-term (less than one month) rental of single rooms will no longer be available.
In addition, rules for cancellation fees will be revised.

Major changes:

1.Suspension of short-term rental of single rooms

80th Anniversary Hall Housing has two single rooms for which

we will no longer be accepting applications for short term stays (less than one month).

2.Revision of cancellation fees

The method of collecting the cancellation fee will change depending on the timing of the cancellation request from the host researcher.

The revised rules will apply to cancellations made on or after August 1, 2023.

＜Before revision＞

1. If the host researcher sends a notification of cancellation during the period
   between ten business days prior to the scheduled move-in date (at 17:00 on the day)
   and the planned move-in date (at 17:00. If the scheduled move-in date is on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, 17:00 on the next business day):
   • Applicants should pay the cancellation fees below:
     Single: 43,700 yen, Executive suite: 136,000 yen　
2. If the host researcher sends a notification of cancellation after 17:00 on the scheduled move-in date
   (if the scheduled move-in date is on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, after 17:00 on the next business day):
   • Payment for the first bill (facility charges) is charged

＜After revision＞

1. If the host researcher sends a notification of cancellation ten business days prior to the scheduled move-in date after 17:00 on the day:
   • Applicants should pay the cancellation fees (untaxable) below:
     Single: 43,700 yen, Executive suite: 136,000 yen
